Planet Zebes is set on one of the many locations of the planet. It has a rough and uneven terrain, and players are more than likely to use the platforms that hover above to battle on instead. Due to the Acid (see below), it is rather rare to have players be knocked out by falling off the bottom of the stage, and instead will have to be sent flying to the left, the right, or upwards to be knocked out. |

 | The Acid will occasionally rise, and make some of the terrain unable to be battled on. Players who touch the acid will be sent flying upwards. The only part of the stage that is completely safe from being covered by this acid is the highest platform.
