Popo and Nana, the classic duo from the NES game Ice Climber, make their return to the Super Smash Bros. series. No matter what the answer is, the heat of the stage doesn't seem to hinder their fighting capability, so they can be free to wear whatever they want.
Popo is the one in blue and Nana is the one in pink. They first appeared in the game Ice Climber. The aim of the game was to get to the top of the mountain, avoiding the enemies along the way. Players could either go solo with Popo, or go two player with Popo and Nana. Although the game has appeared on many other Nintendo formats, the Ice Climbers haven't appeared in another game since. Well, except in the Smash Bros. series of course. In Smash Bros., players control Popo whilst the computer controls Nana. Work together. Defend together. Win together. The Ice Climbers will release a blizzard from their hands. If Nana is with Popo, she will release a blizzard in the opposite direction. This move has a small chance of freezing the opponent for a short period of time. |
