"Who would win in a fight, Mario or Luigi?"
Up until 1999, people were wondering many questions like these. Could Donkey Kong's pure physical strength match up against Samus Aran's future technology? Or could we ever have a chance of seeing Pikachu being clobbered by Link? The Nintendo 64 would let you decide when the hit game Super Smash Bros. was released, containing twelve of your favourite Nintendo stars ready to kick the stuffing out of each other. And boy, was it fun! Super Smash Bros. provided two different modes to play: 1 Player and Vs. Mode. 1 Player mode had you choosing a character and fighting numerous opponents leading up to a final showdown with the Master hand. However, what really rocked about Super Smash Bros. was the VS Mode, where you and up to three friends (or up to three computer controlled players) chose your favourite characters and knocked eachothers brains out on one of nine stages with a large amount of items to aid you. |
